Happy Chinese New Year ( From USA)

Sorry for a bi-weekly update of the blog. I am finally back to my Madison house after 20 days of adventurous journey around the East Coast of USA. I have been missing my apartment in Madison along the trip. The moment when I opened the house door, I smelled the usual fragrance that scented my house. Gah, it was so good. Home Sweet Home. I have had enough rest (2 weeks) before the new semester starts. Which also means the first day of Chinese New Year!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR, MY READERS!

For those who are in Malaysia, I hope you get enough Angpao! For those who are forced to celebrate it without angpao, parents and relatives, I hope you celebrate it in a different way and are able to survive the first Chinese New Year in a foreign country! Haha. Oh At least I had some really good tangerine just now.

My Korean friend told me today is their (Korean) new year as well. Pathetically but funnily, we shoke each other's hand and wished both of us 'Happy New Year'. Sushi, BBQ Chicken, Mac N Cheese, Potato and Tangerine are my New Year dinner tonight. Ah, it has been a relaxing Sunday. I'm lovin it.

At the end of the post, I wish UW students have a good start of the semester and everyone a good start of the Dragon year! Gong Xi Gong Xi! 新年快乐! Take Care!

Love,
Cindy Chew
